Terms & Conditions for Salty Soul Charters

Welcome to Salty Soul Charters ("we," "our," or "us"). By using our website https://www.saltysoulcharters.com and our services, you agree to abide by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.

1. Definitions

  • "Client" refers to any person booking or using our services.

  • "Charter" refers to any boat trip, fishing trip, or excursion booked through Salty Soul Charters.

  • "SMS Services" refers to any text messages sent by Salty Soul Charters to customers for service-related or promotional purposes.

2. Booking and Reservations

2.1. Reservation Process

  • A booking is confirmed only after payment of the required deposit or full amount.

  • Clients will receive a confirmation email and, if opted in, an SMS confirmation of their reservation.

2.2. Payment Terms

  • We accept credit/debit cards and other approved payment methods.

  • Full payment is required before departure unless otherwise agreed upon.

2.3. Cancellations & Refunds

  • Client Cancellation:

    • Cancellations made 72 hours or more before the scheduled trip will receive a full refund.

    • Cancellations made less than 72 hours before the trip are non-refundable.

  • Company Cancellation:

    • If a trip is canceled by us due to weather conditions, mechanical issues, or unforeseen circumstances, clients may choose between a full refund or a rescheduled trip.

3. Charter Policies & Client Responsibilities

3.1. Arrival and Departure

  • Clients must arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled departure time.

  • Late arrivals may forfeit their reservation without refund.

3.2. Safety and Conduct

  • Clients must comply with all safety instructions provided by the captain and crew.

  • Drugs and illegal substances are strictly prohibited onboard.

  • Alcohol consumption is permitted in moderation but excessive intoxication will not be tolerated.

3.3. Liability Disclaimer

  • Salty Soul Charters is not liable for loss or damage to personal belongings.

  • Clients participate in charters at their own risk and release Salty Soul Charters from any liability arising from personal injury, accidents, or unforeseen incidents.

4. SMS Communications & Consent

By providing your phone number to Salty Soul Charters and opting-in to SMS messages, you expressly consent to receive SMS messages related to your bookings, promotional offers, and service updates.

4.1. Types of SMS Messages You May Receive

  • Booking confirmations and reminders

  • Weather or trip status updates

  • Special promotions and offers (if opted-in)

  • Customer service responses

4.2. Opting In to SMS

  • Clients may opt-in to SMS messages by checking the consent box on the booking form or by manually subscribing via text message.

  • By opting in, you agree to receive messages from Salty Soul Charters, including service updates and promotional content.

  • Messaging frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply.

4.3. Opting Out of SMS

  • Clients may opt out at any time by texting STOP to unsubscribe.

  • After opting out, you will receive a final confirmation message and will no longer receive further SMS communications.

5.2. Prohibited Activities

6. Dispute Resolution & Governing Law

  • Disputes must first be resolved through direct communication. If unresolved, disputes shall be handled in Florida, USA courts.
